A mucuna pruriens and the vicia faba (Fava common), are two vegetables that
contain l-dopa, precursor substance dopamine in the human body, a neurotransmitter that improves mood, raises the libido and in some studies proved to be able to stimulate the endogenous production of bovine somatotrophin (growth hormone), thereby contributing to a better athletic performance , and an increase in muscle mass with inhibition of accumulation of fat in adipocytes.
